How to make a Seesaw

Post by schulzor2004 »

Hallo,

another question: How can I build a Seesaw? Of course I can make a board, that lies on a smaller block or cone... But I want it to be locked to the position, like a Seesaw on a playground. How can I achieve this?

Thanks for answering.

Try making two ball-socket joints attached to the board in the center with an offset perpendicular to the two ends of the see-saw to form a hinge-joint. The joints should probably be positioned at exactly the same place as where they attach to the board, for accuracy. Attach the other ends of the joints to a static object so that it will appear 'anchored' to the ground, or attach it to another physical object to make the entire see-saw movable.
